ABOUT
HERTDOC
This is an organisation of
about 90 Hertfordshire GPs who have formed a rota to provide emergency
services when your own doctor's surgery is closed. We cover the hours
from 7.00pm to 7.00am on weekdays, and from 12 noon Saturday to 7.00am
Monday. Your own doctor's surgery covers other hours. We operate a central
computerised telephone answering service which receives your calls.
These are passed to the duty
doctors based at our two Out of Hours Centres in Stevenage and Welwyn
Garden City, from where they are dealt with.
